This week, I spent about four and a half hours writing and revising the project scope for my main client, and sending it to the teacher. This did not include the classwork time. I ended up canceling my client meeting because the scope approval process was behind schedule, and I was not feeling well.
In addition, I also researched how to write cover letters, put together a Handshake profile, and watched some class discussion resources on writing cover letters. This made me want to prepare job website profiles on other sites, and it prompted me to look at the areas where my LinkedIn profile was missing things.
One of my main takeaways from the week is that I am looking forward to getting real-world web design experience under my belt to put on my resume. The other takeaway is that resume and cover letter writing is a very overwhelming experience at first.
